Kalev Kask, Ph.D., Founder, Chief Executive Officer
Before founding EGeen in 2001, Kalev Kask worked at the neurogenomics company AGY Therapeutics of South San Francisco, Stanford University, Asper Biotech and Toshiba. He completed his graduate degree with Prof. Tamas Bartfai at Stockholm University and post-doctoral training with Prof. Peter Seeburg at the Max-Planck Institute for Medical Research in Heidelberg. Dr. Kask has authored numerous scientific publications and patents.

Philip Vorwald, Vice-President, Business Development. Phil Vorwald has over 32 years experience in the biosciences / medical device industry. Phil spent 20 years with Becton Dickinson (BD), where he held positions of increasing responsibility in Sales, Marketing and General Management in the U.S., Europe, Asia-Pacific and Latin America. He served as Vice-President of BD Biosciences Europe (resident on-continent) for nine years and then as Vice-President of BD Biosciences’ Asia Pacific / Latin America division. He later served in executive management positions with startup enterprises such as Guava Technologies and Cytonome, Inc. In 2009 he became Chief Commercial Officer for PharmaJet, Inc., where he managed all commercial aspects of product sales, marketing and customer support. Phil joined EGeen International, Inc. in 2015 as Vice-President, Business Development, where he currently works with the growing EGeen team to expand it’s business portfolio and services in Eastern Europe.
